How To Adjust The Backgauge Clutch
1) Make sure the power is off to the machine.
2)
Take off the long side cover one bolt is under the cover and the other two are on the side of
the fence.
3) Loosen the two nuts on the clutch and loosen the three allen screws.
4)
Open the gap on the clutch and place two sheet of 20 lbs. stock one on the top and one on the
bottom.
5) Adjust the gap so that the paper is just touches the gap between the two plates.
6) Tighten the allen screws and the two nuts.
To check if the gap is right, tam on the power to the machine and push in and out the fine
adjustment knob on the front of the machine to hear if there is a clicking sound that is the clutch
engaging and disengaging if it sound right you are done.
