Why is my Duplo DBM-600 Folding Machines paper not stitched?

  Your Duplo Folding Machines paper might not be stitched for several reasons: * The pressure of the leaf spring attached to the wire reel might be too strong. Decrease the pressure of the leaf spring. * There might be no wire left, so install a new wire. * The wire might be jammed inside the stitcher head, so remove the wire and adjust each section of the stitcher head. * The triangular handle might be set to the non-stitching position, so set it to the stitching position. * The stitch release lever might not be set, so set the stitch release lever. * The stitcher head might not be appropriately adjusted, so adjust each section of the stitcher head.

  Poor paper alignment in your Duplo Folding Machines can occur for several reasons: * The stitching side guides may be too far apart, so set them closer together. * The space between the stitching back guide and the paper may be too wide, so narrow the space. * The number of jogs may be insufficient, so increase the number of jogs. * The paper guide for side stitching is not used for side stitching, so use the paper guide for side stitching.

  If paper jams in the stitching section of your Duplo Folding Machines: * If delivering paper sheet by sheet, the trailing edge of the paper might be floating, causing the next paper to strike against it. Lower the bracket of the infeed paper holder. * If delivering paper sheet by sheet, the air of the DBM-600 AIR KIT (option) might not be properly adjusted. Adjust the air volume. * The gap between the stitching paper holder and the conveyance guide might be too narrow for the paper thickness. Widen the gap. * When delivering paper sheet by sheet and saddle stitching it, make sure you are using the paper guide for saddle stitching instead of the paper guide for side stitching.

  If your Duplo Folding Machines paper is folded skewed, it could be due to: * The angle of the folding side guides not being adjusted correctly. Adjust the angle using the fold misalignment adjustment knob screw. * The folding side guides being too close together. Set the folding side guides further apart.

Adjust the base so that the paper lines are aligned. * The infeed unit may not be secured. Check the value displayed on the control panel and manually move the stitching side guides.
