7.4.5 Opening housing M4 and S2 (for zone 1/21)
DANGER
Danger of death due to electric current!
An immediate danger of death exists in case of contact with live parts. Electronic
components may be damaged by a short-circuit. Therefore:
▶ Disconnect the flame monitor before removing the cover. When doing so, take into
account both the flame monitor's supply voltage and the supply voltage of the con-
tact circuit.
▶ Only ever have work on the opened device performed by specialised electricians.
WARNING
Risk of explosion due to open sources of ignition!
The housing contains sources of ignition. Opening the housing in a potentially
explosive atmosphere can lead to explosions. Therefore, before opening:
▶ Make sure that there is no potentially explosive atmosphere.
▶ If there is a potentially explosive atmosphere, disconnect the flame monitor.
When
doing so, take into account both the flame monitor's supply voltage and the supply
voltage of the contact circuit.
Fig.7.7: Safety screw
1.
Undo the safety screw (socket head) by turning a few rotations in an anti-clockwise
direction. The screw is permanently connected, i.e. it cannot be completely un-
screwed by being turned in this direction.
