11.3 Replacing the gas sensors
The gas sensors of the instrument shall be periodically replaced with new or recalibrated sensors.
The user can easily perform this replacement operation according to the following instructions:
Before proceeding with the replacement of the sensor, it is necessary to insert in the instrument the ID code of
the new sensor, after installing the appropriate PC software downloadable from the website www.e-inst.com.
Once inserted the new ID code in the instrument,
unscrew the four fixing screws of the instrument base;
then slide the base of the instrument to access the
internal parts.
Remove the tubes from the sensor to be replaced;
below is an example of a sensor with the
disconnected pipes.
Locate the position of the sensor to be replaced; be-
low is an example of a sensor to be replaced.
After disconnecting the pipes, pull the sensor
upwards; below is an example of the sensor
compartment without the sensor.
