5. Reinstall the interface terminal cover using the retained hardware.
6. If wiring parallel connections, proceed to paragraph
4.11.3 Installing Parallel Pull Chain and CAN Control Wiring and Connections; if wiring Mini-Slot
connections, proceed to paragraph 4.11.4 Installing Mini-Slot Interface Wiring and Connections; if wiring
REPO connections, proceed to paragraph 4.12 Installing a REPO Switch; otherwise, proceed to Step 7.
7. Install the power terminal cover top using the provided hardware (see Figure 15).
8. Install the power terminal cover right and left sides using the provided hardware.
9. Close the UPS outside door and secure the latch.
10. Proceed to paragraph 4.13 Connecting Internal Battery Strings.

To install wiring:
1. Verify the UPS system is turned off and all power sources are removed. See
Chapter 7 UPS Operating Instructions for shutdown instructions.
2. To locate the appropriate terminals and review the wiring and termination requirements, see paragraph
3.2.3 UPS System Interface Wiring Preparation, Table 12, Figure 16, Figure 17, and Figure 22.

3. Route the wiring to the terminal block:
a. If not already removed, remove the power terminal cover right and left sides (see Figure 15). Retain
the cover top and hardware for later use.
b. If not already removed, remove the power terminal cover top. Retain the cover top and hardware for
later use.
NOTE The lower fan is attached to the top rear panel.
c. Remove the screws securing the top rear panel (see Figure 16). Supporting the panel, tilt the panel
away from the cabinet and disconnect the fan connector from the wiring harness.
