The sounder circuits can be programmed to operate in pulsed, continuous or time
delayed mode.
Please refer to local standards e.g. BS5839 Pt1:2002 for details of the maximum
allowable area to be covered by a single spur / zone. The maximum number of
addressable MSUs per loop is 20.
Spur isolator
CSI350 enables soft addressing to work when the loop contains spurs, it controls
the addressing operation so that when the system reaches a spur, all devices on
the spur are allocated an address before it continues addressing the loop. CSI350 is
mounted on a standard deep double gang back box (supplied).
The device also incorporates a short circuit isolator. Because each device contains a
short circuit isolator only 1 is required at the start of each spur.

covered by a single spur/zone.
