3. Use a soft bar to start the countershaft rear bearing on the
shaft and in the case bore.
4. Use a bearing driver and maul to comlete installation of the
countershaft rear bearing. Repeat the procedure for installa-
tion of the remaining countershaft.
5. Install the snap ring in the groove at the rear of each coun-
ershaft.
6. Install the two countershaft rear bearing covers.
