8.6.4. SMS Forward
The device is able to forward received SMS messages according to the specified rules.
This function may be helpful for example when GSM operator sends messages with
account state to SIM card installed within device. In this window you may provide up
to 5 rules.
Each rule contains a pair: part of sender phone number and correct recipient phone
number. In some cases a part of sender phone number may be an empty string
which means that any phone number matches to the rule. All rules are processed
with given order. It means that in some cases one SMS message may be forwarded
to more than one recipients and/or some of them may be forwarded more than once
to the same recipient. The second case may occur when there are at least two rules
with the same recipient phone number and their part of sender phone number
matches with message sender phone number.
Note: It is a user’s responsibility to provide correct rules which will not create loops
of forwarded SMS messages.
