FOR SMATV INSTALLATIONS
2.1. SYSTEM SETUP MENU
FOR FIXED AND DISEQC1..4SWITCH INSTALLATIONS
This sub menu allows you to customize the system setup to match your installation. Note that
the menu page is dynamic which means that it changes with the selections you make. You
can customize:
System Setup
■ To set the dish type you use (SMATV).
■ To select the distribution type
■ To set the symbol rates you want to scan.
- Search Channels
■ Wait for the search to complete.
User LNB setting
■ To select the first or second user defined LNB.
■ To enter the frequencies of the user LNB.
■ To select the device that controls the polarity.
■ To set the control signals.
About EchoStar
■ In the About EchoStar information menu you can look up
the factory and receiver information.
System upgrade
■ To select the default or user defined satellite where you
want to download from.
Factory reset
■ To reset the receiver to the initial factory settings.
NOTE
FTA (Free-To-Air) receivers have no conditional access capabilities.
If shown, please ignore the Conditional Access button in the main menu bar.
■ System
To set the dish type you use.
■ LNBs
To set the amount of LNBs you have installed.
■ Polarity
To set the device that controls the signal polarity.
■ Switch
To set the switch type which you use to control the
dish installation (if used).
■ LNB1
To set the LNB type(s) you use.
■ Check Signal
To confirm the selections you made and advance to
the Check Signal page.
