AUTOMATION
The EMS Si can be congured to perform actions
based on the status of its 2 dry contact inputs.
You can have multiple actions per input. You
can also have the same input perform dierent
actions when it is open or closed. For example, if
a window sensor is open, you can congure the
system to adjust the temperature set point and
disable the AC.
Setting Up the Sensor Inputs
The EMS Si system supports 2 dry contact inputs
(R1 and R2). In order to use them, you need to
ensure they are correctly congured.
Name
To enable, simply enter a name for this input (i.e.
Door sensor). To disable this input, delete the
name.
Type
Denes the type of input (only Dry Contacts are
supported in this version).
Actions...
Lets you to view the current state and edit action
options for a sensor. To add a new action, select
Add New Action.
State Congure if the circuit (contact) is Open
or Closed.
Type Select the action to perform from the
list:
To congure sensors and
automation
From the Home screen,
press MENU.
Select Settings
Installation Settings.
Select Sensors.
Select the dry contact you
want to view or edit.
Congure the sensor
settings as required.
To create a new action,
select Add New Action.
