WARNING:
Inst
all the pump in the vacuum system before connecng the pump to the power
supply. This will ensure that the pump cannot operate and injure people during
installaon.
WARNING:
Topple haz
ard. Do not exceed the topple angle when moving the pump or the pump
may fall over and injure people.
WARNING:
Push-pull hazar
d with strain injury. The pump system should only be wheeled over short
distances over at surfaces. The system should be lied with suitable liing equipment
if the oor is uneven or has obstacles.
CAUTION:
Local legislaon c
oncerning the impact of the pump on the environment must be
followed when installing and removing the pump.
CAUTION:
Use a ca
tchpot to prevent the drainage of condensate back into the system. Condensate
that drains back into the system could damage the pump.
The following points should be noted when installing the pump:
• When posioning the pump ensure that access to the pump electrical supply cable
or any other c
ontrols are not obstructed.
• Ensure that there is a minimum of 40 mm air gap le on all sides of the pump to
allow eecve air circulaon.
• The system must be located on a rm, level surface capable of supporng the mass
of the pump.
• The system should be installed away from combusble materials.
• The shipping brackets used to secure the pump to the shipping pallet can be used
for seismic restraint. They are designed to withstand a level 4 earthquake in a
ground oor installaon.
• The system can be secured to the oor by using M10 (class 12.9) bolts of a suitable
length (not supplied) through the sloed holes in the brackets.
• If vibraon transmission to the oor is a concern, suitable vibraon isolators (not
supplied) should be ed between the brackets and e bolt or stud.
• The pump must be level to a maximum of 3° in any direcon, measured at the pump
inlet.
• It is the user’s responsibility to carry out a risk assessment of the locaon and take
appropriate measures to ensure that the pump is manoeuvred safely and in
accordance with local and naonal manual handling guidelines.
• Use the following procedure to locate the pump:
