You own one of the finest dewpoint meters in the
world. If looked after, it will last a lifetime.
Regular calibration checks over the life of the
gauge are a requirement of quality management
procedures, e.g. ISO 9000, and other similar
standards. For checks and certification contact
Elcometer or your Elcometer supplier.
Your gauge does not contain any user-
serviceable components. In the unlikely event of
a fault, the Dewmeter should be returned to your
Elcometer supplier or directly to Elcometer.

Caring for your gauge
The humidity sensor is sensitive and should
never be touched.
Clean the display using a soft cloth only.
Do not use solvents to clean the plastic case.
This gauge incorporates a Liquid Crystal
Display. If the display is heated above 50°C
(120°F) it may be damaged. This can happen
if the gauge is left in a car parked in strong
sunlight.
Do not leave the gauge where it is extremely
dusty, damp or wet. Dust and moisture can
damage the gauge and cause it to
malfunction. The gauge is not waterproof and
must not be submerged.
Always store the gauge in its case when it is
not being used.
