Check that the cable is well connected to the plug, and that there are no short circuits
between the contacts in the 13 pin plug.
Inspect the spring contact ( 2 ) on the connector ( 1 ).
One of the contact threads ( 2 ) could have failed, or one of the connections ( 3 )
could be disconnected.
A look inside the plug ( 4 ) is recommended.
