The sample drop motor does not rotate

Measure 24VDC
on the + lead
of the motor

Press the motor switch
Replace the electronic rack
or at least IC3 of 68K resp.
IC4 of the MP68000 main board
Replace the
board PW13
Measure the
voltage of the
motor between
+ and - lead
while the switch
is pressed
Check the wiring
of the sample drop
control.
See 2.18 and 4.2

Pull and remove the sample drop
The motor does not rotate
Are
24VDC
on the motor?
Replace the
motor
to make sure that the motor is free to rotate
Does
the motor
rotate

Are
24VDC
available
?

Check whether the GND test point
of NK31 and GND test point
of the electronic rack are
connected (zero ohms between them)
Replace the switch

board NK31 and
wiring to the
