SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIFICATIONS
Temperature Limits: Operating: -30°C to +70°C (-22°F to +158°F)
Storage: -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F)
Humidity Limits: 15% to 95% RH (Non-condensing)
Vibration: 10 to 500 Hz at 2g on any axis per SAMA
PMC-31-1 without damage or impairment.
ESD Susceptibility: Field connected circuits are designed to meet the
requirements of IEC 801-2 for ESD withstand
capability up to 10KV.
EMI Compatibility: Designed to coexist inside the aluminum housing
with the 2808 electronics. EMI radiation is
insignificant and susceptibility is comparable or
superior to associated electronics.
Approvals: UL approved for use in the following hazardous
locations:
- Nonincendive for Class I, Div. 2, Groups A, B,
C & D.
- Explosion-proof for Class I, Div. 1, Groups C &
D.
- Suitable for Class III, Div. 1.
Transient Susceptibility: Field connected circuits are designed to meet the
requirements of ANSI/IEEEC37.90.1-1989 (For-
mally IEEE 472) for surge withstand capability.
