3.4.2 Connecting Condensed Water Drainage Pipe Of Indoor Unit
The condensed water of electrode humidifier and evaporator are converged by a water tray and drained through the
drainage pipe of drain pump. The unit adopts top drain mode by default, connecting the drainage pipe of pump to up
drainage copper pipe. Fix the drainage pipe to drainage pipe connector (as shown in Figure 3-14) with the hose
clamps in the shipped accessories. The torque of hose clamp is 15kg*cm ,then connect the drainage pipe to the
drainage hole (see Figure 3-16, the pipe connector has been installed,1/2"-BSP) on top of cabinet; if you need to
drain water from the bottom, you should lead the soft drainage pipe through the drainage hole of pump(as shown in
Figure 3-14),and fix it to the copper pipe connector with hose clamp in the shipped accessories. After that, connect it
to outer drainage pipe. The torque of the hose clamp is15kg·cm. The outside diameter of copper pipe is12.7mm, and
the inside diameter of soft pipe is 9mm.
If the unit isn’t configured with pump, the drainage pipe of water tray(enough length is reserved at factory, and the
inside diameter of the pipe is 16mm) should go through the drainage hole of tray, as shown in Figure 3-14, and
connecting to outer drainage pipe. The trap is necessary to drain the condensate water. Pay attention to the following
notes about trap:
1. Adopt galvanized steel, PVC or polyethylene pipe with good flexibility;
2. Allow 2% tilt toward the direction of drainage flow;
3. A trap① is necessary ,and it should be placed 30cm below water tray②. The trap should be placed under the
movable floor.

 Note
 Don’t cut off the bracket of the trap, otherwise the smooth draining will be destroyed;
 Filling water to the trap before the unit is power on.
 Use Teflon belt between the flexible pipes and connector to avoid water leakage ,
 Note
 Because the electrode humidifier contains flowing hot water, the plastic pipe must be resistant to heat higher
than 90°C.
