3.5 Removing Transportation Fastener And Vibration Absorber
To protect partial components from damaging and distorting due to bumping, impact and resonation, fasteners and
vibration absorbers are mounted at certain locations before delivery. Remove the fasteners and vibration absorbers
before installation and commissioning.
Removing pipe fixity
To prevent long copper pipe from getting close to metal plate and thus causing wearing and crack of the copper pipe,
vibration absorbing foams are fitted between them. Remove these objects and do cleaning before installation and
commissioning.
Removing limiting piece of electrical control box
To prevent the electrical control box from moving during transportation, a limiting piece of electrical control box is
installed before delivery. You need to remove the limiting piece before operating the unit, so you can slide out the
electrical control box during maintenance.
Adjusting wind-leading grill
According to the installation location of the Liebert.CRV+ air conditioner, you can adjust the installing direction of the
wind-leading grill, making it lead wind to left or right. The wind-leading grill is composed of several pieces. Remove
the screws on both sides of single piece of wind-leading grill, rotate it 180 degree, and install it back to change the
wind direction. The mounting screws of single piece of wind-leading grill are shown in Figure 3-21.

Sealing the holes of the top plate of the cabinet
For smooth installation on site and connection of the rack on the top of the machine room, there are some holes
reserved on the top of the cabinet. After the cabinet is installed on the site, rubber plugs and blots are needed to seal
