5.8.1 Notes on ‘Request for Measurement Status’
Note
Measurements with values in a range of -9999 to +9999 (using 2 complement format)
Active Power L1, L2, L3
Battery DC Amps (applies to UPS only)
Note
Measurements with transformed values
Battery Temperature = ‘xx.x’ degrees centigrade (applies to UPS only)
Bypass Frequency = ‘xx.x’ Hz
Inverter Frequency = ‘xx.x’ Hz
In some cases, values for measurement of certain quantities are not whole.
In this case, if the measurement is not whole, it is multiplied by 10 before it is put into the Modbus/Jbus RTU protocol
buffer.
Note
Measurements with insignificant values
Battery Charge Percentage = ‘***’ When battery is on load (applies to UPS only)
Battery Temperature = ‘****’ if temperature > 70 or < -20 degrees centigrade
Battery Time Remaining = ‘****’ when battery is being charged
Under certain circumstances the values measuring certain quantities are insignificant and are replaced by *.
In this case, if the measurement is *, the value 0x8000 will be entered in the Modbus/Jbus RTU protocol buffer.
