! Note!
Every PROFIBUS device must check an identification
number assigned by the PROFIBUS User Organization
during the configuration phase. As well as these device-
specific identification numbers, there are also PROFILE
identification numbers that must be accepted during the
configuration phase for the purpose of compatibility with
products from other manufacturers. In this case, it is pos-
sible that the device restricts the functionality relating to
the cyclical data to a profile-defined level.
