Filter Time Const. read/
write
Entry of the filter time constant (in seconds) of the digital
filter of the 1st order.
This time is required in order for 63% of a change in the
Analog Input (input value) to have an effect on OUT (out-
put value).
The diagram shows the time-dependent signal characteris-
tics of the Analog Input function block:
A0003913-EN
A The Analog Input changes.
B
OUT reacted 63% to the change of the Analog Input.

PV SCALE In the PV SCALE parameter group, the process variable is standardized
to one value by means of the "Lower Value" and "Upper Value" parame-
ters using the unit of the connected Transducer Block.
For an example on rescaling the input value, see Page 77.
PV scale - lower
value
read/
write
This parameter is used to enter the lower value for input
scaling.
Factory settings:
0
PV scale - upper
value
read/
write
This parameter is used to enter the upper value for input
scaling.
Factory settings:
100
OUT SCALE In the OUT SCALE parameter group, the measurement range (lower
and upper limit) and the physical unit for the output value (Out value)
are defined. The following parameters are available in this parameter
group:
• Out Scale - lower value
• Out Scale - upper value
•Unit
• Decimal Point
! Note!
Defining the measurement range in this parameter group does not rep-
resent a restriction of the output value "Out value". If the output value
"Out value" is outside the measurement range, it is transferred nonethe-
less.
Out scale -- lower
value
read/
write
Entry of the lower value for output scaling.
Factory settings:
100
Out scale - upper
value
read/
write
Entry of the upper value for output scaling.
Factory settings:
