• Rod probes / rope probes: must be mounted in a stilling well or bypass → 45.
• Coax probes: can be mounted at an arbitrary distance from the wall of the vessel.
• When mounting in the open, a weather protection cover may be installed to protect the device
against extreme weather conditions.
• Minimum distance from the end of probe to the bottom of the vessel: 10 mm (0.4 in)
