2.2.11 Thermal insulation
If the gas is very moist or saturated with water (e.g. biogas), the piping and the sensor housing
should be insulated to prevent droplets of liquid condensing on the pipe wall and/or the sensors.
In the event of extreme moisture and fluctuations in temperatures, it can help to provide a trace
heating system for the piping and/or the sensor.

Excessive vibrations can result in mechanical damage to the measuring device and its holder.
• Accelerations up to 1 g, 10 to 150 Hz, in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6, are permitted
