7 Fault Management
7.1 Fault of External Circulation Fan
Common faults and maintenance methods of fans are shown in Table 7-1.

Inspection and Maintenance
External
circulation fan
does not operate
Chiller is not powered on
Check whether there is electricity at the
power input of chiller.
The circuit breaker tripped after
being struck by lightning
Check whether the circuit breaker inside the
chiller is closed.
Abnormal power input of chillers
(such as over-voltage or
under-voltage)
Check whether there are corresponding
alarms in the chiller, and refer to 7.5 Alarm
Processing for processing.
The chiller is in standby state
Normal scene.
After the chiller is powered on and stands by
for 30s, it enters the automatic control logic.
The fan is stuck
Check whether there is foreign matter stuck
in the fan.
Loose terminal
Check whether the butt terminal of fan is
loose.
Compressor not started
See "Compressor not started" in "Table
7-2 Refrigeration fault maintenance".
Solid state relay failure
Replace solid state relay.
Control board failure
Replace the control board, please refer to
7.4.5 Replacing the Electrical
Components for details.
Fan failure
Replace the fan, please refer to 7.4.2
Replacing the External Circulation Fan for
details.
Abnormal sound
of external
circulation fan
Wear of fan bearings
Replace the fan, please refer to 7.4.2
Replacing the External Circulation Fan for
details.
Fan blades scratch other objects
Check whether cables interfere with fan
blades.
