Note:
Even when you are not using the cut-sheet feeder, you can use its sheet
guide instead of the standard paper guide; simply close the sheet guide’s
extension flap and push in the sheet guide extension, as shown below.
Loading paper from the cut-sheet feeder
This section describes how to load paper in the high-capacity and
second-bin cut-sheet feeders.
Note:
❏
Load single-sheet multi-part forms, envelopes, and postcards only
in the high-capacity cut-sheet feeder (bin 1 of the double-bin
cut-sheet feeder).
❏
For single-sheet multi-part forms, use only the type that are glued
at the top of the forms.
❏
To avoid paper jams, do not allow the printer to stack more than
40 printed sheets on the sheet guide at one time.
