Glass free from
smudge, etc.?
Are the Mirrors in
the Carriage free
from smudge, etc.?
Is the
Sheet White
Section free from
smudge,
distortion,
etc.?
Is the CCD Sensor
Board normal?
Start
Remove smudge.
Refer to "Chapter 6 6.1.1Cleaning".)
Replace the Housing
Upper.
Replace the Main board.
Mechanism fault
(Must be replaced)
Is the scanned image
without problem?
Replace the Carriage
Unit.
*Image has white spots.
*Image has vertical streaks.
Remove smudge.
Refer to "Chapter 6 6.1.1Cleaning".)
Is the TPU Cable on
the rear of the
scanner connected
securely?
Is the Connector CN5
of the Main Board
connected?
Start
Connect the Cable.
Connect the
Connector.
Replace the Main
Board.
