Replace the rear maintenance cover.
F
Press the Z button on the printer's control
panel. The print head returns to its original
position.
Cleaning Around the Caps

Touch Cleaning the Maintenance Parts on the
printer's control panel.

Touch Wiping around the Cap.
The print head moves to the cleaning position.

Open the ink cover on the right.

Remove the front maintenance cover.

Open the front cover.

Use a new cleaning stick to wipe any dirt off the
drying caps.
(1) Hold the cleaning stick so that it is vertical,
and wipe the inner areas of all of the drying
caps.

Important:
Do not press too hard on the edges or the area
surrounding the caps with tweezers or
cleaning sticks. Doing so could cause the parts
to become deformed preventing capping from
being performed correctly.
(2) Hold the cleaning stick so that it is vertical,
and wipe the outer areas of all of the drying
caps.
