Pull out the paper roll and cut the paper, as the illustration below.

Press the PAPER LOAD switch and remove the paper in the direction
of the arrow, as the illustration below.

Never pull
out
the

roll
manually.
4.
Reinstall a new paper roll by following the steps in
Installing
the Paper
Roll
in Chapter 1.
Replacing the Ribbon Cassette
Never
turn
the
ribbon cassette’s feed
knob
in
the
opposite direction
of
the arrow marked
on
the cassette;
otherwise the ribbon cassette may be damaged.
Be sure the printer
is
not
receiving data when
you
replace
a
ribbon cassette; otherwise
data
may be
lost.
