If neither of these issues is the cause, turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. If the light continues to flash, contact a qualified service person.

Alternatively, the printer cover might not be properly closed. Ensure the printer cover is correctly closed by pressing the round indentation until you hear an audible click.
