apertureshouldnotbewithin30cm(1’)ofthesidesofthefumehood.
4.1.1.3RelocatingtheHood
Normallyductlessfumehoodarerarelymovedoncetheyareintheirideal
positions,butiftheneedariseto
relocateorevenrepackagetheunit,thenhereissomeconsiderations:
• Beforemovingthefumehood,remembertosecureallmovingparts,ex:sash.
• Fumehoodisheavy,becarefulwiththeweightdistribution.Usuallyitwilltake6ormore
peopleto
moveit.
Forrepackaging:
• Boltthefumehoodtothepallet.
• Strapthefumehoodbodydowntothepallet.
• Repackageasnecessary.Ifpossible,useoriginalpackaging.
• Whenmovingthefumehood,usematerialhandlingequipmentandliftthepallet.

• Theuseofnon‐levelingfeetEsco
supportstandwillnullifythethirdpartycertification(NSFor
TÜV)thatthecabinetmayhave,becauseonlyEscolevelingfeetsupportstandwasused
duringcertification.ThemaximumNSFapprovedleglevelersadjustmentis50mm(2”).
