• Airflowsensorislocatedinsidetheunitandcanbeaccessedfromtheback.See
figure3‐2below.Itisastainlesssteeltubewith2roundholesfacingup.
Importanttocheck:
1. Ensurethatthesensorareaisnotblockedatallandthatitsthrough‐holes
are
perpendiculartothefilter’ssurface.
2. Exhaustsensorisattachedtightlytothemountingplate.
3. Thereisnogapbetweensensorboxandfiltersurface.
4. Sensorboxisinstalledtightlytothecabinet.
• Turnoffthecabinet.
• SeeComponentLayouttolocatethemainboard.
• UsingDVM,checkthesensor’soutputvoltage(DC)atchannelAIN1(+)andJ1(‐)on
mainboard(Seedrawing3‐3below).
• Thevoltageshouldincreaseifmotorvoltageisincreasedanddecreaseifmotor
voltageisdecreased.
• Ifyourobservationisdifferent,checksensorconnectiononthe
unit(seefigure3‐6
below)andatconnectorDpin9,10,11,12onelectricalbox(seeLayoutattheendof
thissection)foranybad/looseconnection.
• Ifconnectionisokaybutsensorisstillnotworkingproperly,replaceit.
• Ifairflowsensorisworkingproperly,proceedto
nextstep.
