What to do if my ESI 600 Telephone won’t connect?
- AAndrea HarrisJul 31, 2025
First, ensure the cable is correctly connected between your ESI Telephone and the network access device (router, hub, or switch), plugging into the port labeled 'NETWORK' on the phone's bottom. Verify that the link light for the port on the router is illuminated; if not, check the router's power supply. Next, check the cable connecting the network access device to the modem, ensuring the router's WAN port is directly connected to the modem, or if using a hub/switch, connect its UPLINK port to the modem. Test your IP connection by accessing a website on your PC and refreshing the page to confirm fresh data. Finally, call the main office using a regular phone to rule out network or IP connection issues at the main office. For detailed connection instructions, please refer to page A.7.
