System Settings and Setup
This section covers the system settings and setup options for your device.
Setup
Contains functions used in the setup of the device:
Patch
Settings
Files
Layout Mode
Settings
All internal settings and default values are setup here.
Settings are arranged in tabs of related items:
General: Language and about device information.
Hardware: Custom setup of backlight and DMX speed.
Network: Custom setup of your device's network.
Echo: Custom setup of specific Echo settings, including login, Echo space, and lockout.
Display: Custom setup of inactivity behavior for your touchscreen.
Presets: Custom setup of default times used for each of the Presets and the Off function.
Settings: General
From this tab you can set the language. Current options are English, French, German, and Spanish.
The hardware model, current software version, Echo protocol version, and personality library version are also
displayed on this tab.
Settings: Hardware
You can adjust the DMX speed. You should choose the fastest setting that works correctly with all your equip-
ment. Normally, with modern devices, this should be Max or Fast.
You can adjust the backlight for the touchscreen. 1 is the dimmest setting and 7 is the brightest.
Settings: Network
Note: The network tab is not available in the offline editor.
From this tab you can configure the network for your EchoTouch.
