LED indicators
Two new LEDs have been added to the APOLLO V2Ix board, these are used for a visual
indication of the board status:
LED Colour and position Purpose
STANDBY
POWER LED
Orange, situated
next to the PCI
connector.
Provides a visual indication to the user when 5V
standby power is present on the board to
prevent PCI cards being inserted while power is
applied.
BOOT LED Red, situated next
to IEEE1394
connector (J19).
Shows the boot status of the board.
Flashing signifies that the BIOS is booting or the
BIOS setup screen is active.
The BOOT LED is cleared at the time the BIOS
hands over control to the operating system. This
can be used to help determine BIOS/OS related
boot issues.
