Model 5600ACO2 Automatic Changeover Unit
Connect a straight through serial cable (supplied with the 5600ACO2) between the COM serial port on
the rear panel and a PC’s serial port. Start HyperTerminal (or an equivalent terminal program) on the
PC and configure the port settings of the terminal program as follows:

Parity
None
Stop bits

Flow Control
None
Once the unit is powered-up, the HyperTerminal connection displays boot-up status information and
once completed, ends with the “Status Message” as shown below:
Initialization Completed – 5600ACO2 Running
Press the <Enter> key to see the main Menu. In the Main Menu, the following options are present for
module configuration.

Once changes completed and saved, the 5600ACO2 should be power-cycled for
the changes to take effect.
