No signal processing is available when relay is in the bypass state.
3.1.6. PANEL LOCK
The PANEL LOCK pushbutton locks the current front panel setup. The LED to the right of the button
illuminates indicating that panel lock is in effect. The panel lock function must be off to change any
settings on the unit. When the panel is locked, the operator may cycle through the front panel Displays,
but may not enter the Menus or change the keyer or bypass relay states.
3.1.7. SETUP
The SETUP pushbutton is used in conjunction with the menu and display pushbuttons. This allows the
user to enter the 5 different menu systems in order to modify operational settings. The menu systems
are described more in detail in section 0. The SETUP pushbutton is located to the right of the front
panel display, below the SELECT pushbutton.
3.1.8. Up Arrow () and Down Arrow ()
The “up arrow” and “down arrow” are used to scroll through the different menu options of the HD9084.
The menus are described in section 0. The Up Arrow and Down Arrow are located to the right of
the front panel display.
3.1.9. SELECT
The SELECT pushbutton is used to navigate through the menu system of the HD9084. See section 0.
The SELECT pushbutton is also used in combination with other pushbuttons for added functionality.
These functions will show the use of the SELECT pushbutton in the appropriate sections. The
SELECT pushbutton is located to the right of the display, above the SETUP pushbutton.
3.1.10. VIDEO
Pressing the VIDEO pushbutton repeatedly allows the user to cycle through different Video front panel
Display options, described in section 3.2.1. Pressing the VIDEO pushbutton, then the SETUP
pushbutton will enter the Video menu. The Video Menu is outlined in further detail in section 3.4 The
LED above the VIDEO pushbutton will illuminate indicating the selection.
3.1.11. DECODE
Pressing the DECODE pushbutton repeatedly allows the user to cycle through different Decode front
panel Displays, described in section 3.2.2. Pressing DECODE, then SETUP will enter the Decode
menu. The Decode Menu is outlined in further detail in section 3.5. The LED above the DECODE
pushbutton will illuminate indicating the selection.
3.1.12. PORTS
Pressing the PORTS pushbutton repeatedly allows the user to cycle through different Ports front panel
Displays, described in section 3.2.3. Pressing the PORTS pushbutton, then the SETUP pushbutton will
enter the Ports Menu. The Ports Menu is outlined in further detail in section 3.6. The LED above the
Ports pushbutton will illuminate indicating the selection.
