3.3. MENU OVERVIEW
Letters in BOLD CAPITALS are reference to front panel pushbuttons.
To enter the menu system(s), select a Menu & Display button (VIDEO, DECODE, PORTS, TIME,
GENERAL) The LED over the corresponding button illuminates to indicate the current selection. Then
press SETUP. The MENU LED illuminates to indicate that you are now in the Menu system.
The Menu Layout is outlined on the following pages in the form of a flow chart. The menu is divided
into 5 sections: VIDEO, DECODE, PORTS, TIME, and GENERAL which are accessible by pressing the
buttons of the same name followed by the SETUP button. Sections 3.4 to 3.8 provide a pictorial
overview of each of the 5 menu sections. The buttons used for navigating the menu are also shown to
give the user a quick reference guide for using the menus.
Press VIDEO then SETUP - Navigates into the VIDEO menu.
Press DECODE then SETUP - Navigates into the DECODE menu.
Press PORTS then SETUP - Navigates into the PORTS menu.
Press TIME then SETUP - Navigates into the TIME menu.
Press GENERAL then SETUP - Navigates into the GENERAL menu.
The following buttons can be used to navigate throughout the above-mentioned menus:
SELECT: Navigates down one level in the menu tree (to the right on the hierarchy charts).
SETUP: Navigates up one level in the menu tree (to the left on the hierarchy charts).
Parameter values shown when you leave the bottom level of the menu tree will
be used as the control value.
UP Arrow (): Scroll up through items on the same menu level.
DOWN Arrow (): Scroll Down through items on the same menu level.
To exit out of the menu system, press the SETUP button until the MENU LED is off.
