7.2 Checking / cleaning and replacing the guides
Check the guides for dirt and signs of wear after use and
whenever the product is changed. Replace them if necessary.
Note
The guides are wear parts are replaced in pairs.
The following are clear signs of wear:
!" Frayed or striated surfaces (Fig. 16/a)
!" Marks on the roller surface that comes in contact with the
guides
!" Irregular product flow
!" To remove the guides for cleaning lift
them up and pull them towards the
middle.
- Clean dirty guides.
- Replace worn guides with new
ones.
