Installing Your Unit in a Rack
Your unit is designed to be installed in 19-inch racks and in ETSI (21-inch)
racks with the corresponding provided mounting brackets. It will not fit into
23-inch racks.
³ The height of the unit is half a rack unit (0.5U) high or 22,2 mm
(0.87 in.).
³ When operating the unit, select a location that provides at least 75 mm
(3 in.) of clearance on the front.
Note: There is no need to leave an empty slot between units when you stack
them one on top of the other inside a rack.
CAUTION
Failure to provide adequate clearance from hot surfaces may result
in an excessive internal temperature, thus reducing the reliability of
your OTH-7000 unit.
