Ground the Access Point
Learn how to safely ground the access point.
About This Task
Ground the outdoor access point for outdoor installations. A ground terminal is
provided for lightning protection.
Note
Ground connection is not required for indoor deployments. The ground
connector on the access point is not a protective earth ground.
To add ground connection to the access point:
Procedure
1. Attach the ring terminal to the ground wire.
2. Insert the ring terminal on the ground screw.
3. Thread the ground screw into the access point hole below the ground symbol.
