A 1k ohm resistor must connect to the analog input terminals to prevent
instability in the sensitive circuits from electrical disturbances on the
wiring. You need to configure the analog input as an A99 input in FX
Builder. The digital signal is derived from the Reliability attribute of the
analog input object. An open contact gives a Normal status and a closed
contact gives an Unreliable Low status.
