4.11 Alternate (ALT) / Simultaneous (SIM) Heating
By default, the appliance is configured for alternate heating (Fig. 10, ALT), i.e., that the tank resistor and the
boiler resistor do not operate together.
If simultaneous heating is required (simultaneous heating of the boiler and the wash tank), this change must
be reflected in Fig. 11, SIM (Revise connection specifications in Fig. 9 and Table 1).
First disconnect the electricity using the magneto-thermal switch and setting the mains switch IG (Fig. 3/Fig.
4) to OFF.
The blue bridge connection of the CRC11 contactor must be modified. Undo the end connected to NO
(Normally open) from the lower part of the contactor and connect it to the NC (Normally closed) contact on the
upper part of the contact.
IMPORTANT: When the Alternate/Simultaneous configuration of the appliance is
modified, the power and amperage is modified. Therefore the components of the
installation (power cable, magneto-thermal switch, etc.) should be checked and modified
if necessary.
If the production is consecutive or if the water inlet temperature is very low, the tank temperature may fall
below the values recommended by the manufacturer (55 ºC 65 ºC). In this case, it is necessary to change
to simultaneous heating.
The operating electrical configuration change must be reflected in the plate as indicated in point 3.
4.12 Initial start-up (authorised installer/ technician)
Before starting the appliance, use a functional test to check that the electrical protection system is operating
correctly.
The machine must have been installed and/or inspected by qualified personnel, who will start the machine for
the first time, check the appliance operates correctly and provide the operating instructions to the user.
The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for an incorrect installation or start-up.
Before switching on the machine, check that the wash distributors, filters and trays are correctly positioned.
4.12.1 First fill and activation of the boiler
BEFORE DRAINING THE BOILER, THE RINSE TEMP DISPLAY MUST ALWAYS BE
DEACTIVATED (Fig. 12).
THIS OPERATION MUST ALWAYS BE PERFORMED AFTER DRAINING THE BOILER.
THE MANUFACTURER DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPERTY
DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM THE NON-COMPLIANCE OF
THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS.
Activate the magneto-thermal switch and set the mains switch IG (Fig. 3/Fig. 4) to ON.
Open the water shut-off valve.
Use the SELECT (Fig. 12) switch to select position I, II or III (Fig. 12). The WASH TEMP (Fig. 12) displays
light up and water starts to enter the appliance.
VERY IMPORTANT: As this is the first fill, the boiler will be empty and the boiler heating
must not be activated; the RINSE TEMP (Fig. 12) display continues
to be switched off.
If the boiler is empty and the RINSE TEMP (Fig. 12)
is activated, immediately move the SELECT (Fig.
12) control to position 0 (Fig. 12) to switch off the
appliance.
To switch off the heating turn the appliance back on.
The RINSE TEMP (Fig. 12) display flashes before
starting. After the fourth flash (not before) press and
hold down the ON/OFF button of the display
until the display switches off.
If the display does not switch off in 5 seconds,
immediately switch off the appliance and try again.
