MACHINE OPERATION
Preliminary operations
The following control conditions need to be met before operating the machine
with the work platform controls.
• The voltage of the batteries, if present, must be sufficient enough to
activate the machine (for 220/230 V external power, the plug must
be connected to the electrical system).
• The main power switch on the ground control station must be
switched on.
• Both emergency stop switches, one located on the ground control
station and the other on the control desk of the work platform, must
be in RESET position.
24 V BATTERY POWER SUPPLY
If the machine is equipped with batteries, there is a battery charger with AC
input/DC output. The battery charger automatically stops charging when the
batteries are fully charged.
ATTENTION
KEEP SPARKS, NAKED FLAMES OR CIGARETTES AWAY FROM THE
BATTERIES. PROVIDE ADEQUATE VENTILATION WHILE CHARGING. DO NOT
CHARGE A FROZEN BATTERY.
NOTE: when the battery charger is connected to an AC socket, the
transmission function of the machine is disabled.
