1.5 Environmental disposal instructions
Pursuant to directives 2012/19 EC and 2011/65 EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and the restriction of
theuseofcertainhazardoussubstancesinelectricalandelectronicequipment,wastecannotbedisposedofasurban
waste,butmustbecollectedseparately.
Whenpurchasingnewequipmentofanequivalenttypeonaone-for-onebasis,theequipmentthathasreachedtheend
ofitslifemustbereturnedtothedealerfordisposal.Regardingreuse,recyclingortheotherformsofwasterecovery
mentionedabove,themanufacturermustcarryoutthestepsdenedbytheindividualnationallegislation.
Adequateseparatecollectionforfutureuseoftheequipmentassignedforrecycling,treatmentandenvironmentally
friendlydisposalhelpstopreventpossiblenegativeeffectsontheenvironmentandonhumanhealth,andpromotes
recycling and/or reuse of the materials that make up the equipment.
The crossed-out bin symbol (see symbols on page 1) on the device or on its packaging indicates that the product must
be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its life.
