Commissioning the DGP(L)−Ū as a servopneumatic positioning axis:
Please note
Complete commissioning in accordance with the specifications for your
positioning system.
Commissioning the DGP(L)−... as a cylinder:
1. Close all the one−way flow control valves
at first completely,
 then loosen them one turn.
2. Close the adjusting screws for the end
position cushioning on both sides
at first completely,
 then loosen them one turn.
3. Pressurize
the DGP(L)−... at first on both sides simultaneously.
The slide will then move forward slightly to a centre point of equilibrium.
4. Then exhaust the DGP(L)−... on one side.
In this way you can avoid peak loadings on the DGP(L)−Ū and in the
compressed air network.
5. Start a test run.
6. Check to see if
the following settings on the DGP(L)−... need to be modified:
 the slide speed
 the end position cushioning (not with DGP(L)−8/12).
Mass geometries with projection in the direction of the slide movment
Warning
Note that the adjusting screws must only be
turned when the DGP(L)−... is at a stand.
