Conveyor Station
The conveyor station can be used as one of three processes in a production assembly line or
as a stand-alone single unit. The following assumes that the conveyor is to be used as a
stand-alone unit.
The unit consists of modules that can be disassembled into individual components. This pro-
vides flexibility when conducting the lessons:
− The conveyor can be used as a complete technical system for one set of lessons.
− The conveyor module or each modules individual components can be used for another set
of lessons.
Components of the conveyor station
The following table lists the most important components and corresponding circuit symbols
of the conveyor station.

the belt of the
conveyor which, in turn,
transports the work
pieces. Can be made to
run forward and in re-
verse.
Solenoid. Acts as either a
deflector or stopper (can
eject or hold the work
piece)
depending on which side
the unit has been
attached.
