Learning materials.
The learning materials consist of the following:
Fundamentals of Automation Technology (Theory section)
The theory section covers the fundamentals of automation technology and mechatronics. It
contains information on sensors, pneumatic and electric drives, relay controllers and pro-
grammable logic controllers. It also includes a section on the history of automation technol-
ogy and on how engineers work.

Teaching with Meclab (Commissioning instructions) (this manual)
The commissioning instructions consist of an introduction and detailed step-by-step instruc-
tions on how to assemble and commission the three MecLab® stations. We recommend that
you follow the instructions contained in this document.
