Implementation—directconnectiontobattery
•Whereconnectiontoapowerdistributionpanelisnotpossible,thepowercablesupplied
withyourproductmaybeconnecteddirectlytothevessel'sbattery,viaasuitablyrated
fuseorbreaker.
•ThepowercablesuppliedwithyourproductmayNOTincludeaseparatedrainwire.Ifthis
isthecase,onlythepowercable’sredandblackwiresneedtobeconnected.
•IfthepowercableisNOTsuppliedwithattedinlinefuse,youMUSTtasuitablyrated
fuseorbreakerbetweentheredwireandthebattery’spositiveterminal.
•Refertotheinlinefuseratingsprovidedintheproduct’sdocumentation.
•Ifyouneedtoextendthelengthofthepowercablesuppliedwithyourproduct,ensure
youobservethededicatedPowercableextensionsadviceprovidedintheproduct’s
documentation.
