Table 4. Front-Panel Features
Number Description
A
VI AUX (3.1 A Current OUTPUT) terminal
[1]
- This terminal is the source of current output
when
3.1 A is selected.
B
OUTPUT LO terminal
[1] [2]
C
Volts/Impedance (VZ) OUTPUT HI terminal
[1]
-Terminal for ac and dc voltage, resistance,
capacitance and inductance sourcing, and Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)
simulation.
D
Volts/Impedance (VZ) SENSE HI terminal
[1]
- In voltage functions, or 2-wire / 4-wire
compensation in impedance functions, use the Volts/Impedance (VZ) SENSE terminals to
sense at the DUT.
Use external sensing in the voltage functions when the DUT draws enough current to
produce a significant voltage drop in the cables, and in the impedance functions when the
DUT has a four-wire input. External sensing is also used for two-wire compensation in
impedance functions to allow compensation to the DUT terminals.
E
SENSE LO terminal
[1] [2]
F
30A terminal
[1]
- The 30 A terminal is the source of current output when the 30 A range is
selected (>3.1 A to 30.2 A).
