User Performance Check
The Calibration is set at the factory. For accurate Re-Calibration or
resetting of Calibration the unit must be returned via the dealer.
Users may wish to check for faults after a period of use or after shock to the
unit. We suggest the pressure measurement performance is checked by
connecting an external pressure gauge and syringe to the fluid inlet
connector of each channel fitted. Initiating an occlusion test on each
channel in turn (each Fluid-inlet must be vented to atmosphere at the start
of the test), and then raise the pressure to 1 Bar on each channel fitted and
checking that the pressure readings are approximately as expected.
We suggest that flow measurement performance is checked using a syringe
pump which has been calibrated with an accurate burette. We suggest
checking each channel at 20 ml/hr. Please note that a new syringe must be
fitted before performing this test, and the syringe pump must be allowed
time to come up to speed before starting the Flow Test on each channel.
