Components may be damaged if you do
not adhere to the prescribed fastening
torques. You should therefore always
adhere to the prescribed torque.
A torque spanner must be used for fas-
tening the screw connections. Parts
tightened with the incorrect torque could
become loose or break.
25. General warranty
1. Retailers Warranty
As in most cases, the warranty agreement will be
upheld by the FLYER retailer for two years after
the point of purchase.
After two years, assuming that the battery has
been used and charged as informed in the in
-
structions manual, it should still have a capacity
level of 60% of its original level.
The normal wear of wearing parts (e.g. tyres,
tubes, chains, sprockets, brake pads, paint, la
-
bels) is not subject to warranty claims. The buyer
is responsible for regularly maintaining and car
-
ing for the FLYER e-bike (i.e. having the bike in-
spected as suggested in the instruction manual).
The warranty conditions will become void if you
modify or repair the FLYER e-bike on your own.
The same applies if you exceed the bike’s limit
of use by:
Riding it in races and competitions
Riding it for commercial uses
Overcharging the battery
Using it for other unintended purposes
2. Manufacturers Guarantee for the Biketec AG
a. Warranty Services
Despite the FLYER retailer’s right of warranty,
the Biketec AG will cover all warranty services
when the FLYER e-bike needs to be completely
remounted. In this case, the bike will be mounted
and tuned by a FLYER retailer recognized by the
Biketec AG. Starting at the point of purchase, the
warranty will begin covering the following:
